Hammond, LA, July 6, 2022 – First Guaranty Bank is the new owner of an approximately 1.9-
acre city block in downtown Vivian, Louisiana. This new property is located down the street
from the current Vivian Branch. The new FGB property currently houses a vacant building that
was once a grocery store and while plans have not been finalized, the bank plans to build a new
and improved bank branch on the lot. This new branch will help better serve their customers
while breathing new life into the downtown area. “Our commitment to the communities we serve
is paramount to the mission of First Guaranty Bank.,” says Adam Johnston, SVP/North
Louisiana Regional Manager. “This announcement is further evidence of our desire to grow with
Vivian, and we intend to give them the branch they deserve. I am truly thankful for the support
we have received from Mayor Festavan and the Town Council during the acquisition process.
